Custom content is content created by other than EA. You can download stuff you need or want, to make the game more fun or realistic. 
 

• How do I download custom content?
   

  1. Make sure you have the resource file you need to process the mods. On your computer go to Finder → Documents → Electronic Arts→ The Sims 4→Mods. There should be a file already in there named, “Resource.cfg” 
  
  2. Find some custom content you want to download.
  
  3. Download the content
  
  4. Move the custom content into the Mods folder from "downloads" on your computer. (Locate the mods folder: Documents→ Electronic Arts→ Sims 4→ Mods)
  
  5. Make sure the custom content works in your game.
  - Open Game.
  - Turn mods on: Go to the three dots at the top right of the screen→Game Options→Other, and then you should see this:
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Make sure these two are marked.
  
  6. Enjoy the custom content! (You might have to restart the game if the these wasn't already marked.)
   

• Is it safe to donate via PayPal?
  
  Yes its completely safe, its also used to pay on webshops. It works carefully with your bank.
   

• How do I download builds?
  
  You need Winrar to download package files. You can download for free here. You use winrar to extract the packages files. Put the custom content part in mods folder, put the tray files in the tray folder.

• Can I share the content?
  
  You can share the content, but remember to link my site or tag my tumblr @nordica-sims. Do not reupload without my permission.
   

• How do I use CAS Backgrounds?
  
  Its actually very simple, you can download CAS background just like other CC, but you can ONLY have one background in your mods folder at the time.
